This website is very simple. So simple we do not even use cookies, small amounts of data saved by your web browser. These serve many functions, in particular for storing selected preferences or login information, in order to enable a smoother experience the next time you visit the website.

Cookies can also be used for tracking activity and advertising, but you'll find none of this on filterthenoise.org.

We only gather data if you sign up to the lessons and share this info with a service called Flodesk, a marketing email service that enables #FilterTheNoise to send you beautiful emails. A data protection agreement is in place for this service, guaranteeing the privacy and security of your data.

• Place of processing: United States – Privacy policy.

This information is not shared with Unicorn Platform, the website builder service we used to make this website. Your data is only shared with Flodesk.

Under GDPR, you have rights in relation to your personal data:

• Right of access: you can obtain confirmation on how your personal data is being processed but also obtain a copy of the personal data we maintain about you.
• Rectification: you are free to ask us to change any inaccurate personal data that we process.
• Erasure: you are free to ask us to delete any personal information that we no longer have a legal ground to process.
• Restriction: you can ask us to mark certain personal data as restricted whilst complaints are resolved.
• Portability: you can ask us to transmit the personal data that you have provided to us and we still hold about you to a third-party electronically.

We will retain your name and email address for as long as #FilterTheNoise is active or until you tell us to delete the information. If one day the service is discontinued, your data will automatically be deleted.
